Green Infrastructure & Healthy Landscapes
Economic Benefits of Green Infrastructure

Living Brooklyn

City of Brimbank

The Brooklyn Industrial Precinct is a mixed industrial precinct of approximately 330 ha in Melbourne’s inner-western suburbs. The City of Brimbank has established the Living Brooklyn project with the support of a broad range of stakeholders to develop a vision for integrated water cycle for the Brooklyn Industrial Precinct. The project sets out a clear vision for integrated water cycle management for the precinct and outlines an action plan for achieving the vision. Opportunities for integrated water cycle management across the private and public domain have been identified.  Combinations of opportunities will be assessed in terms of the economic, social and environmental merits to identify the preferred strategy for the precinct.
